Plus she lived not too far away from our wedding venue The Roslin Beach Hotel Thorpe Bay. Our first visit with Ruth was lovely, very friendly, welcoming and a lady who enjoys her work. Come our BIG day in May Ruth was with us up until The Wedding Breakfast which is the package we paid for. Ruth was organised with her groups of photo shot’s after the ceremony, in such little time and over 80 guests, time just flew by. Was lovely to have Ruth with me and my bridesmaids at the beginning in our honeymoon suite taking such lovely fun photo’s which really helped calm my nerves for the ceremony. ‘Our praise to Ruth as our wedding photographer is long overdue! Ruth captured our amazing day back in May at the beautiful venue, Spains Hall. When I met Ruth at a wedding show I liked her direct approach, her sense of efficiency and of course the sample photos and books she displayed.
Ruth had not been to Spains Hall for a wedding previously so she made the effort to visit our venue in advance of our big day to ensure she could capture the best photos. Ruth also arranged for us to visit her prior to the wedding to discuss which group photos we would like. This all demonstrates the passion and commitment she has to her career.
As expected Ruth was great on the day. She kept everyone in check and managed to fit in as many photos as possible before the blue sky changed to storm clouds. She continued to take photos during the meal and managed to capture some beautiful un-posed shots of our children.
After our wedding Ruth was very efficient providing us with a sample CD of the photos and she actually had to contact us about our chosen photos! Again, once we had finally narrowed down to the number we were having in our album she worked on getting the album to us quickly (with no demands from us). I was so pleased with the photos she took and with the Wedding album she designed, it flows wonderfully, telling the story of the day.
Both of our parents were also delighted with their copies and now we all have a beautiful memory to keep and show friends.
Ruth is professional and an artist in her field, I would recommend her for your special day. Thank you.’

Just a little note to say thank you. I ended up ordering a photo book in the end (was an expensive type one). It came on Saturday and although we’ve had photos since the wedding and the whole CD you took on the iPad to look through, these now all look amazing!!! Paul’s mum cried when she looked at it. Every one of the 400 ish photos I chose are incredible. The resolution is incredible and each one tells that story if only for a minute.
I can’t really put into words how much I love our photos but now they’re in the album they’ll be with us forever.

Wow what can we say!
You were our wedding photographer on 23rd May at our home for the pre wedding shoot of the dress, getting ready and that all important shot of my dad seeing me for the first time in my dress (priceless) and then for the ceremony at The Old Parish Rooms in Rayleigh. You were fantastic throughout, even helping my mum with the zip on my wedding dress when it got stuck!! You had me in all kinds of poses to achieve the perfect shot and the results were amazing!
Our little boy was very shy but you told me to leave you alone with him which I did and the laughing, smiling shots you took of him were simply stunning. What a fantastic photographer you are! You blended in at the wedding, just like one of our guests, you took shots of us when we weren’t even aware you were there and knew exactly the look we were after, the sign of a truly professional photographer. The photos are beautiful, something we will treasure forever but also the memories we have of how much fun you made it for us will live with us forever too.
