‘Hot pink” is the way to describe Jo and Kat’s wedding flowers, at least that’s the term they used to describe their wedding flowers, the bridesmaids dresses, and the boys ties.
Another lovely wedding at the gorgeous Lawn in Rochford, I could happily work at this venue all the time, its so perfect. We were entertained by Jo’s friends from Leigh Operatic who sang “One day more” from Les Miserables, Jo had arranged it as a surprise for Kat and it was truly wonderful to hear them all singing. I stayed until first dance so was lucky enough to hear the song for a second time in the evening.
Christine did the flower arrangements, Jane from Exquisite weddings did the chair sashes to match and it all looked striking.
Nice to see Jenny and Katie Poole again doing hair and make up.
Both girls chose Serena Bridal for their wedding dresses. They went on separate occasions so as not to spoil the surprise. They stood back to back on the landing upstairs at the Lawn and turned around for the big reveal. Delighted to discover they had both chosen similar dresses and the train at the back was virtually identical. The girls threw their bouquets as is tradition, and the guests had fun trying to be the one to catch them.
I am looking forward to making their Graphistudio wedding book, one thing is for certain, the colours will be very vivid!!
